Import Historical Data (ASCII)

Hello Nikhil,
If I try downloading the data for GBPUSD for October '12 then I can successfully import it using he below steps:

• Open the csv file using excel
• Save the file as a txt file with the name $GBPUSD.Last.txt (txt being the extension)

Can you please let me know the exact file you are trying to import but getting an error.

Also please find attached the data for October '12 which I could successfully import.

Here are all the Steps in a attach file that i have followed and it still failed please check and see where i have made a mistake if not than please tell me the solution

Step 1 I downloded the file you shared on the $GBPUSD

Setp 2 I went to my tool, historical data manager

Step 3 i chose the file i downloaded from you post and and hit accept

Step 4 it says it failed

and see all the pic attachments and 2 more since i could not load it on these so i will in the next post

Hello Nikhil,
If you try importing the file after disconnecting with your connectivity provider then are you able to import the data.

Also please make sure to import the txt file after extracting it from the zip file.
