Does Display Update Interval affect ATM functions?

I was wondering if the Display Update Interval setting has an effect on the ATM functionality?

For instance, if I wanted to reduce the load on my CPU and set the
DUI to 1 second, would that be, in effect, a filter on what price movement is recognized by the ATM?

e.g. If a stop/target was set at a level that was quickly tagged in the 1 second interval and returned before the chart updated, would the ATM ignore that price move?

Display update interval would not have any bearing on ATM processing. These events would update tick-by-tick in real-time.
