Simulated account connection problem

    Simulated account connection problem

    I logged on to my IB connection account and when I tried to connect it to NT I got an error. I attach the image.

    What could be the problem??

    Hello dvercher,

    Please go to Tools > Account Connection and select your IB account and click on the Edit button. Then click on Next until you are where you can enter you user name and password. Please change 'Host (optional)' field from 127.0.0.1 to localhost.

        Hello dvercher,

        Please try to set it back to Host (optional)' field back to 127.0.0.1. Then open TWS and go to Edit > Global Configuration > API > Settings and make sure 'Enable ActiveX' is checked.

        Let me know if you are still unable to connect.
