Auto Breakeven and Auto Trail Settings

For the "Plus" setting in Auto Breakeven and the "Stop Loss" and "Profit Trigger" in the Auto Trail settings area, would one normally use positive values for either a short entry or a long entry?

I see you can enter negative values and I was wondering when one would do that. I assume these would always be positive values. Is this right?

Hello,

You would always want to use a positive value regardless of your position.

The negative values are for when you would want to move the stop below your entry price on a long order, or above your entry order on a short order.

Actually I have another question.

The "Plus" then refers to the entry price and not the current price. Is that right?

So if I was in a long trade and set the "Profit Trigger" to 6 ticks and the "Plus" value to 2 ticks, the stop would be at BE + 2 ticks.

Yes, that is relative to your entry price. So a Plus value of 2 ticks would be BE + 2
