Multiple IDs, same account

Hello NT support,

Is it safe to run two separate instances of NinjaTrader, from two different machines, one the same broker account using two different login IDs?

I have such a configuration with Mirus/ZenFire, and I see all of the orders, positions etc. of one instance in the other. Is this the expected behavior? Moreover, when I hit 'disconnect' on the second instance (i.e. the one which did not generate the orders), I get prompted with a warning that I have open orders and positions. Can logging-off the second instance cancel orders generated by the first instance?

Hi Boaz, yes we have a good # of traders using this setup - what do you mean by different login ID's - did you mean different license keys for each NT instance run?

Hi Bertrand,

We have two NinjaTrader on two difference machines, each with its own different NT license key.
Each is connected using different Zen-Fire login credentials (i.e. different user name and password), which map to the same RCG account.

Thanks for the clarification, if the broker issued you this setup then I believe it would be fine.
