    Control Center window disapears

    Hallo
    I have a persistent problem for a long time.

    The problem is that whenever i run ninjatrader for first time after boot, the "control panel" window is nowhere.
    Then if i end ninjatrader process in windows task manager(i cant close it with another way) and run it again, it would appear normally.
    Do you have any idea ?

    (version 7.0.1000.7)

    Happy New Year from us here as well voyager.

    Are you using a multimonitor setup here?

    The most current NT7 version would be the R8 which you could download from here -



    Would you see the same outcome when working with a fresh set of workspaces here?

    To test, you could exit NT7 and go to Documents\NinjaTrader 7\workspaces and then remove the xml files present here (for example move them to a different folder), then restart NT7 fresh.

      Yes it is a multi monitor setup
      I'm gonna try the .8 version
      Hope it wouldn't need to create the workspace from the beginning.

        Ok, please let me know - also be mindful where (on which of your screens) the mouse pointer is when you actually start up NT.

          Finally, i nstalled ninjatrader .8 after full uninstall,
          i created workspace and templates from scratch
          but still the first time running after pc reboot, there is no control center window.

          Any idea ?

            Hello,

            Thanks for the forum post.

            This normally means NinjaTrader did not successfully finish start up.

            Please send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.


            You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

              Please cancel my last post
              I just saw that the problematic workspace was also loaded with the new.
              So i closed it and full deleted it and voila.
              It now works.
