Backtesting Not Working On Instrument List

I am trying to run a backtest on the Nasdaq 100. Within the strategy analyzer, I right click Nasdaq 100 > backtest > select my strategy, and then backtest. However, it is only returning results for the first instrument in the list "AAPL." Thoughts on how to resolve this? Thank you.

cfree5119, are you connected to any datasource while you're bakctesting, if yes to which one please?

On what timeframe are you testing the strategy, intraday or daily data?

I am connected to TDA and am testing on daily data.

Do you see data as expected then when you load other components of the NASDAQ 100 in your charting?

For example MSFT, INTC or GOOG?

The data on the actual chart looks fine. However, I am getting this error on all other stocks I have tried (7) or so. See attached.

Having an issue sending the email. I am working on VMware if that makes a difference with sending items out.

This happened to me again... I optimized the SP500 and it only returned results for symbol A. When it went through the test, it showed it loading each stock in the control center. Very confused why this is going on. Again, my data server is TDA. Whenever I run a backtest or optimization I don't know if it will run on the instrument list I request or the first symbol of a given instrument list.

cfree5119, thanks for the update - there are unfortunately known data loading limitations with TDA that development is looking into improving. If you could send us your updated logs we could review and verify you would see this happening on your end, a workaround for accessing free daily data in NT7 would be using the Kinetick connection presetup in NT7.

The same thing happens to me every now and again.
It happens whether I use Kinetick or my current active data feed, which is Esignal.

The problem usually goes away when I close the strategy analyzer and open up a new one, but it's really bad when I'm waiting over an hour for the backtest/optimizer to find out I have no results.
