problem with IB and NT

I was using multiple broker license and only connected to IB TWS version 917.

the first time everything was ok. then at around mid night IB disconnected from server so there is no real account and PNL information available in NT.

So I closed IB and NT.

When I tried to log in IB from TWS, I found that TWS gave no response (almost like the TWS button was grayed out). but my other IB accounts I can log on no problem.

I then tried NT to connect to this IB, and also failed.

Now I can not use TWS with this account on this PC. I can use my laptop to log on TWS.


Please enlight me what could be the problem and how to fix it.

Thanks for writing in to report this behavior.

First, please try restarting the PC. After doing so, please restart NinjaTrader and TWS and let me know where we stand.

i already tried this.

I restarted PC, start TWS to log in without NT and not work. started NT and NT could not connect to IB.

this is weird.

That is out of place.

What type of account are you working with here? Is this a demo account, standard or perhaps an FA account?
