I have a strategy that will only backtest from the start of the contract to the present. If I put in any other date but the full contract dates then the results come out as 0 results. Also, it will not run any backtests unless the time says "instrument settings" If I set it to 7:30-2:15 it comes up blank. These time periods and different dates work for every other strategy that I have. ?? Also I cannot enable the strategy from the Strategy page, only from the strategy tab on the Control Center. Do I have to do one or the other? The strategy enabling from the chart usually does not work.

I would suggest backtesting using the continuous contract. You can add it by adding an instrument with the '##-##' as the expiry.
If possible, could you take a screen shot of your settings when you are running a backtest?
Could you clarify what doesn't work about enabling the strategy?
Who is your data provider?
