    NT Memory and performance management

I just want to make you know about an trouble I'm finding with NT.

I have a strategy that works fine without overfills. After several hours working I start having overfills. When this occurs I have to restart NT. After restarting everything works fine till several hours pass. Then I have to restart again

I suppose this is a memory overload management NT trouble

guillembm, what NT7 release version are you using here please?

As you run into seeing the overfills, what are your task manager resources are looking like? Is CPU and RAM pegged near the max?

Are you using custom resources in your strategy? If so, are they properly disposed?

It would also help if you could forward us the trace / logs files for review via Help > Mail to Support.

It seems that the solution was more simple. I realised that I had almost 3GB of space allocated for NT.

I reinstalled NT again reallocating the settings folders to another volume. Now it's working very well.

          I spoke too early.

It's true that after reinstalling NT was really fast. The second day a little bit slower but with a very good performance.

The third day more slower and now I'm almost like before reinstalling. I suspect there is a relationship between the amount of chart data and performance. THere is a way to eliminate chart data without deleting trade data?

Could you please send me the logs / traces to check through? Best would be contacting me via Help > Mail to Support?

You can delete stored data via Tools > Historical Data Manager.

Are you recording replay data and storing realtime data as well? This could be checked in Tools > Options > Data.
