Charting future events on X-Axis
Is it possible to draw vertical lines (or symbols, text, etc.) on an extended X-Axis for future events such as calendar events or the output of a time-related (price-independent) function or formula such as astrological events? The idea is to see those future events on a current chart.
Thanks.Tags: None

Hello aligator,
Thank you for your note.
Although it is possible to draw objects in the future area of a chart, unfortunately the future date/time is not plotted since it is not known how much space will be taken up on that chart since NinjaTrader supports non-time based bars like tick/range bars.Ray S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Thanks Ray.
I am surprised with your answer because we are able to plot indicators such as Ichimuko where Kumo cloud extends in the future by 26 bars. Regardless, the question is really related to time based bars since it deals only with future time related events not tick, volume, or any price related bar types and can easily ask the program to extend the x-axis by N bars into the future.
An example is the "Displacement", an (integer) offset value that shifts the plotted value of an indicator by N bars. Such as:
int Displacement = 10;
