Is Ninjatrader in my best interest?

Here are my requirements:

- I will be programmatically simulating tens of trading strategies using independent machine learning mechanisms to apply themselves individually to thousands of financial instruments
- I will require communication of existing orders/trades to external elements throughout the simulation to the machine learning component for each strategy

Can this be done in a simple manner?

This is possible in NinjaTrader but there will be challenges working with thousands of instruments. The NinjaScript strategy framework is used to automatically submit orders, and each instrument would need to be hard coded in order to be part of the same strategy instance.

You can use market analyzer to run an indicator script against a list of instruments, but would not have any of the order entry / strategy features.

For communication among multiple scripts, you could write information to a file, or use any features of C# for this. There is no built in communication available between different strategy instances.
