EUROSTOXX from Yahoo feed

[Europetrader]

I cant figure out how to import EUROSTOXX (http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=^STOXX50E) in Ninjatrader (cant figure out how to import ^GDAXI either).

verry frustrating, as most other indexes I follow work fine.

If anyone can help me with this I will be verry greatful.

Please follow the instructions below to add an instrument in the NinjaTrader 7 Instrument Manager.

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
• Press the "New" button
• Enter instrument specific information and select the appropriate exchange.
• Fill in any relevant information under the "Misc" tab, including the symbol mapping for Kinetick
• Press the "OK" button

For example, the ESTX50 EURP (^STOXX50E) is added with:
Master Instrument: (user defined name) ESTX50
Instrument Type: Index
Tick Size: 0.01
Session Template: Default 24/7
Symbol Map: Yahoo: ^STOXX50E
Exchange: Default


the DAX (^GDAXI) is added with:
Master Instrument: (user defined name) GDAXI
Instrument Type: Index
Tick Size: 0.01
Session Template: Default 24/7
Symbol Map: Yahoo: ^GDAXI
Exchange: Default

Has anyone the Eurostoxx 50 symbol mapping for kinetick? I couldn't find it on their symbol search?

This is EX which is setup by default for the FESX futures in NinjaTrader.

This is Chris following up on behalf of Jason. Kinetick can provide data for the Eurex futures contract for the Eurostoxx 50 but Kinetick would not be able to provide data for the cash value of this index.

Hi Christopher, maybee you know if kinetick has one of the ETFs on the index? I know that there is a quite active one from Lyxor ESTOXX50 for example.

I am not aware that there are any ETFs available for the Eurostoxx 50.

I found three: FEZ, HFEZ (currency hedged) and FEU all listed on NYSE.

You would be able to receive data for any of these ETFs from the Kinetick data feed. You will just need to add the ticker symbol to the NinjaTrader instrument database.

Equities can be added to the NinjaTrader instrument database by typing the instrument symbol followed by the exchange into an open chart and pressing the "Enter" key on your keyboard. For example, you can type "FEZ NYSE" to add the ticker symbol "FEZ" mapped to the NYSE.
