Positions in the simulation account older than 31 days are not reported in the Positions Tab.


This is a limitation as exists currently. You would not see this behavior on a live account.

Ok, thank you for this info Matthew. This behavior is still a little strange to me. To be working on long term strategies only to find your trades gone without a heads up, and nothing reflecting in account value, or positions and exits was(is) annoying. I'm not into popups..but one saying.."blah blah...is older than 30 days and will be removed" would have saved me a ton of grief.

How are demo trades handled regarding ninja/ IB ?Where are they held? Ninja servers? All demo accounts are treated equally?

Thank you for your feedback and how we could better handle this behavior.

The simulation orders are held on your local PC in your database and not to an external server.
