Updating Master Instruments in Bulk?

Is there a way to Add instruments to the data base without entering them one at a time? Such as an import from a file?

Updating them individually is a pain.

BTW, I am using Interactive Brokers as my data provider.

Hi SteveR,

This is available for stocks only. You can batch import from a list or file using File > Utilities > Import Stock Symbol List. The following page can help further with this feature:

Thanks for the info. I find it frustrating that I have to know which exchange the stock is traded on. This data is cumbersome to incorporate into my list of stocks. Instead of having importing just a single list with all of my trading universe, I now have to research them to find which exchange they are traded on and put each into a separate file.
