How to get rid of the default instrument list?

Since they are exploded in the tree view by default, I find them a bit annoying.

You can go into the Instrument Manager and remove all the extraneous instruments from the Default list.

No you can't, actually. When I go in there to delete all the "Globex" and "Eurex" and "Nybot" symbols I get a "You can't delete the default list" msg. But I'm not trying to delete it, I'm trying to change it to symbols that I actually need so that I can easily navigate between charts without having to go through the cumbersome and time consuming problem of selection via the control panel.

To remove an instrument from an instrument list you will need to select the instrument and click the > button.
