Automatic Data Loading on Startup Hitting IB Limits

Hello,

I don't understand why when I first log into IB via NT the control center bar says loading historical data?? Before connecting to IB I make sure I have no strategies listed or charts open, yet it still says Loading Data...

With the IB limits on data I eventually get an error message about pacing violations.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Or better options?

Please open the File > Workspaces menu. Aside from the workspace which is checked, are other workspaces listed here?

Thanks Kyle. I think that solved my issue. I had another workspace that was not checked but it was there. I had some trouble closing it but eventually managed. I then deleted it.
