Yes, it would still be true until the OnBarUpdate() method was called on the next bar.

For example if you were running the strategy on a 5 minute data series, you can expect this to value to remain true for up to 5 minutes until the next bar is called.

To prevent situations like this, you can use OnExecution to set this flag to false as soon as it is executed.

Using the print statements helped to find the errors and the OnOrderUpdate() method seems to work fine for changeing the flags values before the script continues to my exit conditions. Normally it should execute on the real account the same way, but I'll monitor with the print statements.
