Failed to send email message

    Failed to send email message

    Never had this problem before; "Failed to send email" message when attempting to send, to support, from within Ninja Trader.

    The complete message reads:

    "Error; Failed to send email. An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permission: 72.232.148.211:25"

    I've tried this on (2) different computers, one has Windows 7, one has XP Professional, both with the same results.

    Both through MS Outlook 2007. Have used this email program in the past with success.

    Might be something in the setup within "options", but, I can't tell what, if any, the problem might be.

    I could use some guidence.

    Hello Stan,

    Can you please configure the 'Mail setup' at Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab for the email provider you use. I have included screenshots of examples for some common used email providers.

        I have the exact same problem.

        I'm on my parents slow DSL, and not my home connection.

        same error message. My mail setup is BLANK.

        I also had this issue last thanksgiving, but never mentioned it.

          I got my GMAIL working.

          The default (blank) doesn't work on slow DSL for some reason.
