NTD files in "NinjaTrader/db/tick/XXX" folder

I wasn't sure where to post this question, so please move it if there's a better place for it.


I have a large number of *.ntd" files in the above referenced folders, which is using up a significant amount of memory. Was wondering if there is a way to limit the number of days this data is kept (like past 30 days). I want the tick data, but for only the past X days.

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to set that up currently but I will pass the suggestion on to development. In the meantime, manually deleting the files would cause no harm - just be sure to shut NinjaTrader down before doing so.
