Neither Indicators nor Moving Averages Updating

I'm using the simulated trading platform and am getting the free Kinetic end of day data.

The indicators and moving averages lag on the daily chart by one day and on the weekly charts the indicators and moving averages lag by one week.

Is there a fix for this?

I'd like to use NT but without accurate indicator data it's pretty much useless, especially since this information is readily and freely available elsewhere.

This lag is to be expected since Kinetick offers free End-of-day data only. If a day isn't complete yet then it will not offer this information. Your best bet in getting real time data from Kinetick is to subscribe.

Your answer doesn't offer any real help.

I am now looking at Friday's data. Clearly Friday has come and gone but yet the indicators have not updated.

The same is true for the weekly charts. The week is over and yet the indicators have not yet updated.

If there is nothing to be done, if this is just the way it is, then you could at least say so.

Why would I pay for real time data when there are several other sites that offer good charts and up dated data in real time?

Hello Curtis,

NinjaTraderAdam_P asked me to assist.

The reason you are seeing a 1 bar delay in the indicator calculation is becuase most indicators are set to calculate on the bar close. To change this, right click in your chart and select "Indicators". Then change "Calculate on bar close" to "False."

Thank you. That did the trick.

Had to go through each indicator and MA. Changed True to False for each. After doing them all I hit Apply. Then I saved the new chart settings in my Templates.
