Send orders to SIM and LIVE account at same time?

Hello,

I want to use TradeStation and the NT Email method for automated strategy trading in a LIVE account. And, at the same time, I want to do automated trading using the NT DLL method for trading a Simulated / Paper (Sim101) account. So orders would be getting executed in both my LIVE and Sim101 account at the same time. Can this be done?

Maybe this could be done via having mutiple instances of NT open at the same time on a single PC? Is this possible?

Thank you for your note.


This can be done all with one install of NinjaTrader. You can use both the email method and DLL method at the same time.

Furthermore you cannot start multiple versions of the platform this is a limitation.

Thank you Brett. Also, can NT send Buy/Sell orders to both my LIVE account and Simulation account (Sim101) at the same time? Or can we only do fully automated trading in a ninja LIVE account or Simulation account, but not, both LIVE and Simulation trading at the same time?

Basically i want TradeStation platform to send some of my signals to a ninja sim101 account, and some other singals to my LIVE trading account at my futures broker. can this be done on the one single PC?

Both interfaces allow the specification of the account the orders from TS are submitted to in NT, for the email interface you would be working with the workspace naming options to set this up as needed :
