Data Gaps, Failure to Reload Data

I am running NT 7v7 on a Win Sys 7 machine with ZEN-FIRE for Data Provider.


When I was looking at Sun open, I was rearranging my charts on aworkspace and noticed that my NTSystem Memory usage was getting very high - so I:

1. orderly closed & saved all workspaces and exited NT
2. restarted my computer and restarted NT
3. connected to ZEN-FIRE and restarted the workspace

Now, instead of the charts being sluggish - the data between O and current time was missing - so I:

• Repaired DB
• Went into Historical Data/EDIT and was going to Delete the data for 10/30/11 - but it wasn't there - so I chose to delete the 10/28/11 data.
• Went to the RELOAD tab and wanted to RELOAD ALL - but that button was greyed out and I couldn't choose it.
• Repeated steps 1-3 above.

Now I just created a NEW WORKSPACE, and a new chart - and NO DATA prior to the chart creation time is there.

How do I get the Historical Data to show up?

Hello ohtrader,

Can you please close NinjaTrader and go to (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db-->cache and delete its entire content. Start NinjaTrader, connect to Zen-Fire and load historical data. Please let me know if the requested data is still not loaded.

Please note that historical data between 7:37pm – 10:00pm MDT yesterday is not complete - there will be historical data missing between these times. This would be 9:37pm - 12:00am EDT. Unfortunately, our historical data server did not properly record data at these times. However, you should load complete historical data besides these times.

Thanks for the info. It took care of the problem - and now the charts are working MUCH BETTER!!!
