Overfill Problem

I am trading three strategies on a live account simultaneously. The strategies do not generate signals at the same time and all other strategies are flat before a position is taken in another strategy.

One of my strategies gives me "An over fill was detected on order" and the strategy is shut down. This happens consistently. In the strategy, I have IgnoreOverFill = true set. My stops are significantly away from the market.

Any ideas how to go about solving this?

If you are unsure the particular sequence that led to overfill, can you please send your log and trace files to support 'at' ninjatrader 'dot' com. Include a link to this thread, write Attn: RyanM. Attach files for the day when you had an overfill and I will take a look.


You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

* The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

* The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"
