problems on connecting NT7 with IB

No, you cannot get away with the security codes during log in.

Hmmm... So is there any use to having NT "automatically" log into IB? I guess if you are using IB as a datafeed from your IB paper trading account (which does not require the crypto) then it helps. That daily manual step is a pain especially if you have open positions over night.

The whole purpose of security is to provide account protection and reduce identity theft.

Hello,

I have seen some IB accounts use the security card and some that don't require it. If you don't want the extra security layer it may be worth contacting IB to see if its possible for them to disable it.
