stop loss in strategy setting seems not triggered

Hi,

I created a simple EMA crossover strategy, and tried to set a stop loss for trades. But no matter how I set it, the stop loss was never triggered. Any possible reason for this happening?

What stop loss method were you using?

I used the wizard and tried best to follow on-screen instructions. I attached the screenshot FYI.

Thanks for the screen shots. I see that you're using Calculation Mode.Percent, however you are using whole value of 1. This would be equal to 100%. If you wish to use a value of 1% for your stop, please try using 0.01 as the Value.

still unable to get to work

I put in .09 for 9% stop loss but still get a max loss of 18.83%

Can you provide screenshots of this loss on the Account Performance tab of the NinjaTrader Control Center or the Strategy Analyzer?

Can you also provide your strategy or a toy version of the strategy with the instrument and period type/interval you tested it on?
