How can I get Renko chart?

Can someone please tell me where can I find Renko chart in NT 7? I've been reading posts in the forum and it seems like it is already available in V7. But I am unable to locate it.

    Many Thanks.

    Hello pandyav,

Please go to File--> New--> Chart--> change the Period type from "Minute" to "Renko".

Please see our Help Guide article on Understanding the Data Series Window for more information:

      Renko chart

I create a new chart, change from minute to renko. The default template is changed to 24x7 and load 10 days. But the chart does not show 24x7 data. What did I do wrong?

Who is your data provider? And are "Range Bars" also an issue?

Interactive broker is the data provider.
I do not understand the second question Range Bar.
I do not have this issue in minute chart.

Renko bars are based off of tick data, and Interactive Brokers does supply this data type from their historical servers.

Chart bars will however be built as time passes so if you left NinjaTrader running with an open chart for 60 minutes you would have 60 minutes of chart data with the tick data on it. However if NinjaTrader is not running for a period, the tick data will not be backfilled for that time.

If you are interested in historical tick data, you would need to subscribe to another data provider who offers this data type.
