    SuperDom issue

    Using NJT with Interactive Brokers. Using market replay to trade Forex. Purchased 80 contracts, then hit stop to sell 40 contracts. SuperDom began selling 1 share at a time and created numerous execution transactions. Restarted NJT and IB, reloaded DB and repeated this error several times without getting correct execution. Had worked fine prior to this. Anyone have experience with this issue?

    Thanks for the note.

    Since most likely there is no volume on your forex feed you obtained this forex replay data from or limited volume at least. Volume is require for the simulator to simulate fills. Therefor there is only enough volume to fill 1 contract. Which depending on provider this could be 1 standard lot most likely which is a fairly large position.

    Therefor for forex on this feed you will need to use a low QTY of 1 or 2 unfortunately on the simulator..

      Thanks Brett. I have been using NJT, paper trading downloaded replay data for six months. This is the first time I have experienced the problem. I have reloaded the data, reset the history, stopped and started NJT, Backed up from a secondary PC running NJT, and restored on my primary PC, and still have the issue. I sell 80,000 Forex contracts, hit the limit to buy 40,000 contracts and the system purchases one contract at a time creating numerous pages of executions, and SuperDOM is left showing 79.XXXX contracts in the SuperDOM window. This has been occurring for two days downloading the prior day's market data, then replaying market data in my practice account. Any suggestions? Can I supply you with more information to diagnose? I appreciate your help.

        Where did you get the replay data from? The file->utilities download replay data or did you record it yourself? If so what data feed?

          I downloaded the market replay data under the Utilities function of NJT.

            Hello,

            This worked in testing on my side.

            Can you let me know what settings you are using in the simulator tab.

            To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

                    Brett, On the Simulator tab I checked the box: Inforce Immediate Fills and that seems to have resolved my issue. Thank you for your help and your quick responses. I will contact support if the isssue reoccurs with the Immediate Fill box checked. Have a great day!
