Cannot Get the Dec Crude contract to load

I have the Dec crude contract chart open, it is updating with the proper price but, it is charted according to the November contract.

The price history of this morning is not accurate on the 30minute chart, the data ranges for the 30 minute bars (high to low) are way off.

I have opened new charts up, exited out and re-entered, but just the same result.

Can you help?

Hello vern13,

Thank you for your post.

This is due to the merge policy settings in NinjaTrader and the November contract still actively trading.

You can avoid this issue by going to Tools--> Instrument Manager--> Locate the CL instrument and select "Edit".

From the Instrument Editor, locate the Merge Policy settings and set this to "DoNotMerge". You should then see the CL 12-11 contract with the correct last price, rather than back adjusted to match the current prices of the 11-11 Contract.
