Importing all Kinetick stock symbols

Is there an easy way if importing all symbols available with free Kinetick EOD data?

rassom, most of the popular symbols are presetup within NT already - if you like to add more you can do so in the Instrument Manager : http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...e_database.htm

To check for the needed Kinetick mappings please see this link :

Hi Bertrand,

Looked into this a bit more now and I can see about 700 symbols set up with NT already (the components S&P 500, DOW, etc). Is there a full US symbol list (some 7,000 symbols) available for import? If not, is there a less full list, i.e. the Russell 3000 components?

Unfortunately those lists are not available for download, you would need to custom add with the batch import function then to your Instrument Manager.

Is there a way to import the symbols and description for stocks?
I can import a symbol list but the there are no company names associated with them so I have to manually edit.

TAJTrades, there would be unfortunately no supported way to do so - a workaround others have used is editing the instruments.txt file and then resetting their instruments.
