Adding custom Futures Symbols

Hi

How do I add a custom symbol to NinjaTrader?

My broker quotes Futures Spreads as a custom instrument, so for example if I wanted to Trade the spread between November and December Crude Oil they provide a contract "CLX1-CLZ1.NYMEX", how do I add this symbol to Ninja?

Have tried adding through Instrument Manager but does not seem to work, are there any special settings? I think the problem may be that Ninja is forcing it to add a contract Month where the symbol does not have a contract month?

Hello Mike,

Unfortunately spreads instruments are not supported in NinjaTrader. We support futures, equities, forex and index instruments.

You could program a custom indicator that will plot the difference between two instruments. Please see the link below for information.
