kinetick/zenfire connection

If one has both zenfire and kinetick for realtime futures, is connecting to kinetick 1st and then zenfire 2nd any better than connecting zenfire broker account and kinetick 2nd? Which order of connection is better from ninja performance perspective, particularly during the high volatile times ?

Hello,

When connecting to Kinetick and your broker, you have some options. There would not be any advantage in terms of performance when connecting to these two technologies.

1. Connect to Kinetick first then to your broker. This setup will get all live and historical data from Kinetick, and still allow you to execute trades to your broker.
2. Or, connect to your broker first, then to Kinetick, with historical data disabled on your broker. This will allow you to get live data from your broker, and all historical data from Kinetick, and will also use Kinetick as a backup.
3. Or, connect to your broker first, then to Kinetick, with historical data enabled on your broker. This will get live data and any available historical data from your broker, and will allow you to use Kinetick for historical data not offered by your broker, and will also use Kinetick as a backup.

Thanks Matthew for the connection options. But trying to see if any of the three options is better than other during high volatile times. So, there isn't like a recommended option that NT suggests ?

Can any ninja users who have both kinetick and zenfire please comment, if they did any tests performance wise, and as to which connection method is good during high volatile times for intraday futures.
