Mixing real-time and historical data

I've gotten the connection to my IB account working, only to discover that the charts are only real-time, no historical data. Is there a way to mix a historical data source with the real-time data I get from IB? I can't use esignal because they don't support a dual-wan router, but dtniq does, and I have an account with them. How do I get the data into the chart while preserving my ability to trade my IB account?

IB should provide you with historical minute data and daily data. Tick data is not supported. If you open a 1 minute chart, it should historically load. You can check if the problem is with your account by just opening a 1 min chart in TWS directly. If you can get historical data there, you can get it into NT.
