IB currency with NT

Hi,
When I set Currency type in the drop down, and hit the lookup key, I don't see the currency type as an option in the instrument lookup dialog box. I attempted to create a new currency with IDEALPRO as an exchange, but still no luck.

Is it possible to do that with NT 6.0 using IB? I have no problem accessing IDEALPRO in TWS.

Hello Hassan,

Unfortunately, currency data is not supported when using the IB data feed. At this time the only data feeds that support FX data are eSignal, TradeStation, and Gain Capital.

Currencies and IB

Any chance that NT will be able to use forex data feed from IB in the near future?
