Session template

Hi,

I am abit confused about the session template. Which should i be using for american stocks and which for comodities? Or should i always use the default option? The problem with default is when i have imported 10 years worth of data the default always seems to miss bars during the first 6 years even though all the data is there.

Hi Freddy,

For intraday data: The session template is your preference. You can see how the times are defined for all the session templates using Tools > Session Manager.

For Daily+ data: You should match the session template with the times that were used to create the daily bars.

You should not lose bars because of the session template selected. If you have historical data text file and can let us know what session template used to see this, we can check into this here.
