Collective2 - 6E is OK, but CL is not?

I have a connection to Collective2 and it sent a 6E order fine this morning. But when I traded CL, it didn't send anything. I get this entry in the Log for the 6E instrument:

Collective2 signal (66088052) processed successfully: http://www.collective2.com/cgi-perl/...version=701007

But I get nothing at all regarding Collective2 for the CL instrument. I do have the Collective2 symbol map for Crude set to *CL. Is this incorrect?

Nevermind... I got the info at their page on futures symbols. For the Nov 2011 contract, CL would actually be QCLX1. Got it!

Wait, it's still not sending anything to collective2, even though I have the symbol for CL mapped to *QCLX1 for the Collective2. So... how do I get it to send crude futures trades when 6E and TF seem to be working OK?

Hello,

What type of order are you using with CL? Are these market orders? As a test, can you please try sending an order to market and let me know if you get anything to C2 with this symbol?

They are stop orders. I also just tried a market order and nothing is attempted to send to C2. 6E and TF are still working fine with C2.

Are you sure you are submitting the order with the account you setup in the C2 Account Group? Often times these issues are a result of placing the order to the live or sim account and not to the account which was setup in the group.

If you're sure you have the correct account selected, do you have current positions on your C2 account? Are you sure you have enough equity to open more positions under CL?

I figured it out, Matt. For C2, the crude symbol is just QCL. So setting it to "*QCL" now is sending orders to C2. Thanks!
