Error loading NYMEX Emicro Gold from IB

Hi

Anyone else has this issue - I can't load MGC (NYMEX E-mini gold futures) when connected to IB. I get the message

Error on loading chart data for 'MGC 09-11 Nymex': IB: Error in requesting historial data from IB: No security definition has been found for the request(200)[/SIZE]

I have checked the following :

- IB account has market data subscription to NYMEX
- I can open MGC chart from TWS with no issues
- The default MGC instrument in NT had Globex as the exchange. I changed it to NYMEX.


PS : The NT error message has the wrong spelling of 'historical' :-))) damm code monkeys and their poor spelling...

traderji, please try accessing the 10-11 or 12-11 expiry, there would be no 09-11 for this contract...and the default mapping should work as the MGC symbol for IB is directly mapping to NYMEX.
