Connecting to Pats - disabled "Server Type" control

Gentlemen,

I'm trying to connect to Pats, and here's the problem: I do not have a life account yet, but the Server Type control in Pats connection setting is disabled and is set to "Live" by default, which prohibits me from changing it to "Test". I suppose, that's the reason I cannot make a successful connection.
Any idea on why the control is disabled?
