backfeed problem with Renko chart

I could not get history data on a Renko chart and the reload history data option is grayed out.

I am using interactive brokers and it works well with regular chart time frame just that when I tried Renko, I got problem. only today's data is available.

Thanks for clarifying.

With this provider, the result would be expected. Renko bars are built using the base interval of tick data. Unfortunately, IB doesn't offer historical tick interval data though the API used by NinjaTrader. While this has no effect on real-time data, historical data would not be available.
