Default settings / templates for "Backtest Properties"

I would like to do a bunch of backtesting using the exact same three days of 6E trading history
Unfortunately, I have to reenter all the "backtest properties" every time I modify the Strategy
- It seems unnecessary (not to mention tedious) to have to enter the following settings 500 times by hand...

Data Series
Price Based on: Last
Type: Range
Value: 4

Time Frame
From: 9/12/2011
To: 9/14/2011
Session Template: Default 24/7



There is no mention of any default settings or templates for "Backtest Properties" in the help guide but surely there is a
way to save Backtest Properties or set them to a specific default for all backtests and/or optimizations...(?)

If not there really should be.


Any ideas or work arounds would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Zigman,

Once you selected the strategy and configured the settings as you like, please right click in the grid and select 'Set Default For *strategy name*'. The settings will now be saved for that strategy, so you can save different settings for each strategy.

I figured there was a way to do it but I just couldn't find it anywhere in the help guide...

My 2 cents - this important tidbit should be mentioned prominently in the Backtesting section of the help guide.
