Volume Data Disappears

During trading session for eur.usd, i.e. cash market, volume bars print.

When charts are opened for next session volume bars for previous session are all uniform size, so no volume information from prior session is available. Price bars are fine.

Data is IB.

How can I ensure NT stores and uses volume data?

Unfortunately historical volume data for forex instruments is not supported with IB. It will be received in values of 1.

You can connect to a data feed in NinjaTrader that supports historical volume data first and IB second. That way you will be able to load historical volume data.

As per NinjaTrader 7, our preferred market data service is Kinetick. Real time service starts as low as $50 per month or completely free if all you need is end of day data.
