    Adding a new index

Well, I want to add a new index, Ibex 35 (Spain).

I'm connected to Yahoo, which provides the data I want, but when I create a new chart, appears a window called 'data series' with some indexes (like SP500 or NASDAQ), but I don't find Ibex 35.

So, I went to Tools > Instrument manager and there I added a new name in the instrument list, called Ibex35.

And now i don't know what to do, I just need to add the stocks inside the instrument 'Ibex35' but I don't know how. :/

    Hello Hahis,

I tried creating a custom instrument using different settings for the IBEX35 index, but I am unable to receive data so far.

The ^IBEX35 index is listed as per the Mce exchange at Yahoo's website.

I believe this points to Bolse de Madrid (Bm in NinjaTrader).

I enabled the Bm exchange in the Definition-tab. I entered "IBEX 35", "^IBEX35" and "IBEX35" without quotations next to Yahoo in the Misc-tab.

If you like to add stocks part of the IBEX 35 and not the index itself, please provide me a link from Yahoo Finance that lists such a stock.

      Thanks for helping, did that!

If I want to add all the stocks of Ibex, is there a method to do that in just one step, or I have to do that one by one?

When you said to provide a link, is this link the right one? (shows the 34 stocks of Ibex)

        Hello Hahis,

You can import multiple stock instruments at once by importing a stock list. Please see the link below for instructions.

You would enter ABE.MC, ABG.MC, ACS.MC, etc in the stock list. Make sure to set Currency to Euro.

Please let me know if you are unable to import the IBEX instruments this way.
