Trading Options and NT Simulator

I wanted to know if you can use NT 7 to trade options using the simulator and virtual money.

Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately NinjaTrader does not support Options.

This is on our list of future considerations.

Hi Cameron, I see that it is not possible to trade options in Ninjatrader, but is there a way to get a quote/chart for an options contract? I ask because there are some good leading indicators that can be developed by options chains and volume that can give signals as to the direction of the underlying instrument. I use IB as my data feed - would be nice to at least allow/implement the quoting of options contracts in NT.

Thanks for posting.

Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to even chart options. That said, this is something that development is considering adding in the future.
