    When to rollover

    Hi,
I tried to change the symbols Dec contracts right now.
It's 7:30 pm PST and it seems like the charts don't load the right data.
They don't even update the charts with the new data.
    DOM works with Dec contracts.

So I have to wait till tomorrow for the contracts to expire before rollover?

    Hello Kalalex,

    Thank you for your post.

You can wait until tomorrow for the roll over day to update your 12-11 charts with the correct data or you can perform the steps outlined below to manually change the roll over date.
    • From the Control Center -> Tools -> Instrument Manager
    • Search and select the instrument you wish to change
    • Press 'Edit'
    • Go to the 'Misc' tab
    • Scroll to the bottom and select the 'Contract Front Month' field
    • Press the '...' button
    • Select 12-11 from the left column
    • Set the Rollover date to 9/7/2011
    • Press 'OK' on the Contract Months window, Edit Instrument Window, and Instrument Manager
    • Right click in your 12-11 chart -> Reload All Historical Data

      Ok.
Looks like it's easier to wait till the end of tomorrow.
      Thanks.

At what time today is rollover? before or after the RTH session? My 12-11 charts still look weird.

            12-11 charts look very strange

My charts look odd as well. I have these huge candles. Today was roll-over day, correct? I have 7 minutes until live trading so I would like to get this resolved quickly. Thanks!

I finally figured out the problem. I had to recreate my charts. They look fine now.

Where does NT get the offset adjustment value?
from the CME website ES 09-11 settled at 1199.00 and ES 12-11 settled at 1193.75.
                A difference of -5.75 not -6.25.
                Please explain?

                  CriticalTrader,

The offset value is calculated by data on our servers, it is possible that this value can be different than what other sources report.
