    Default path change

    Hi,
    I need to change the default path of
    C:\Documents and Settings\Adm\My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\incoming
    and
    C:\Documents and Settings\Adm\My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\outgoing

    to a different drive.
    Can you tell me how can this been done? I couldn't find any options for this

    Hi mailro, unfortunately changing those folder locations is not supported.

      You can only change the location of "My Documents" folder itself, which unfortunately, will move everything, not just the NT stuff.

        Thanks but I dont need that I just want these folders to go to my ram drive

          I tried to copy 500 order files to the incoming folder and it executed about 100 and after stucked. The rest of the files remained there and nothing was doing.
          I also tried to make 500 dll cals with a 10ms delay to send orders and it executed about 200 and then it was going slower than a turtle. Is that a limitation?

            No can do. NT has those files hard wired to the "My Documents" folder.

            Of course, you can use a junction/hard-link to redirect the folder, but that is another kettle of fish.

              Do you know why when I am sending many orders too fast the execution of them slows down?
              e.x. I send 50 orders in a loop either file either dll calls
              passing ok
              then I send 10 and they been processed slower than been placed by hand

                mailro, can you please contact us via Help > Mail to Support so we could review your diagnostic trace / log files for the order submission issues you ran into?
