IB Max Subscription Allowed

Hi there.
I´m trying to receive 5 seconds bars from TWS as many products as I can.
I do subscribe to 6 in a thread and 12 in another new thread (different Client ID numbers; as you probably know, its possible to have 8 threads from the same connection).

Subscription dont make any Pacing Violation, but when the second thread starts to receive bars, it just receives 4-5 bars and then disconnects his thread.

It doesnt happen subscribing 11 products, but it does when I add the 12th product.

Is it really 18 the number of maximum simultaneous products from which I can receive 5 seconds bar?

Quite poor, in my opinion...

Any ideas?

share_holder, this is unfortunately a limitation that we would not control - I would suggest contacting IB support for checking how many simultaneous subscriptions you should be able to run - likely the TWS tickers used would count into this limit as well, so cleaning up used subscriptions might be helping you here.

Hi again,
For those who maybe have this problem, let me say tha I´ve just receive IB email and they confirm that 18 is the maximum number of simultaneous subscription that is allowed; no matter how many instances (threads) you have simultaneous.
