    Login failed: Unable to login.....

    Needing some advice please

    As of today ( fine last week/month/year) I am unable to connect to my Zenfire account. I get the error dialogue

    ""Login failed: Unable to login: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure" see image also attached

    On advice from NT I have:

    Upgraded from NT vew5 to ver 7 ( twice)
    removed and re established the account connection ( twice)

    this made no difference.

    Other strange thing that was happening was that when I closed NT and attempted to re open it, it would say it is unable to open as another instance is running - which it shouldnt have been and was not visibly so. It would re open after restarting the pc.

    Does anyone have any suggestions please - I do want to resume trading from Tuesday.

        Hi Bertrand, I have exactly the same problem. I have upgraded today from NT ver5 to ver 7, but it does not work yet. Also another instance is running.

          use task manager in windows to kill the other instance of ninjatrader that is still running

              For the running instance, please see sledge's tip on removing it via the Windows Task Manager.

              For the login issue:

              Which OS do you use?

              Have you also tried a complete freshly setup ZenFire connection on R7?

              Is your PC clock synced up & accurate? Please doublecheck into this.

                yes, I can always kill the process with the task manager, but I wonder why ninja does not close the process if I close the application.

                My OS is Windows 7. The first time I have had the login problem is when I went on vacations to another country (same time zone) and the PC clock was not right. I have resynced it many times with internet-time and different servers, but it seems somehow that the remote certificate does not accept it yet :-(

                I have tried with a complete freshly ZenFire account.

                I don't know what to do. Just waiting for coming back home and see if the problem is gone.

                  josepin, unfortunately this can happen if the process gets stuck for any reason - which can for example happen due to malware on the PC or a drivers conflict.

                  If you check under Help > About : which exact NT7 build would you run currently?

                  If you go into your ZenFire account connection and enable the use of the Legacy API in the settings (on the page where you enter username / password) - would you then be able to connect on your end?

                      Hi Bertand

                      I'm having the exact same problem, but Legacy API turned on does not help once it only runs in NT 32bit.

                      I've formatted my win 7 64 bit and renewed the zen fire login info several times, with no sucess to connect.

                      can you help?

                        Hi Daniel, are you here on most recent NT7 R7 (7.0.1000.7) and have also doublechecked that your PC date / time is 100% accurate and in sync? Would you have for example another ISP to try this on as well?

                          I cant connect to ZenFire either in 32 or 64 bit.... after upgrading to NT 7...07

                          Legacy API does not work. My clock is fine.

                          I was connecting fine before the upgrade....

                            Hello,
                            i have the same problem with NT7 current (7.0.1000.7).
                            Can't connect to Zen-Fire. No problem to connect to IB !
                            This also in both 32 & 64bits.
