Modifying Active ATM strategy

Hi,

I was wondering 2 things about modifying an Active ATM strategy. (sorry if this has already been asked, I couldnt find it anywhere.)

1.) I use a lot of trailing stops, is it possible to change stop strategy? So say my stop strategy starts with a 10 tick trail and then I change my mind once the order is placed and I want to change to a 5 tick trail..

2.) With regards to TIF, can I change whether I use GTC/Day as the order is in progress? The questions pretains more to my overnight trading...I like to use GTC for overnight stuff, but sometimes I forget to switch over at the end of the trading day when i submit my first after-hours order.

ssc351, unfortunately the TIF could not be changed on the fly, however the ATM strategy trailing can be adjusted - if you right click on the ATM strategy generated stop order you could disable AutoTrail, change the AutoTrail properties and then reenable it to have the new settings take effect - unfortunately you could not switch to a new template on the fly though.

So if I understand you correctly, if I decide to cancel my active ATM strategy. I could only use manual limit/stop orders on the active trade and if I would want to trail at all I would have to do it all manually?

If you cancel the ATM position strategy, that's correct - but you can adjust the trail properties of the working stop orders : http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...auto_trail.htm (first section here)

I'd like to add a followup question to this thread. Is there a way to make changes to the AutoTrail / AutoBE settings of an Active ATM Strategy from within Chart Trader or does it have to be done via the DOM?
