why I'm getting and error compiling a strategy for this line?

string InstrName = Instrument.FullName;

[NinjaTrader_Matthew]

That snippet is compiling just fine on my end.

Can you clarify the exact error you are receiving when compiling? If you comment that line out, does the strategy compile?

Thanks, I just had to change the function from public to private.
