      The ability to connect was restored around 8:45 AM EST. CQG reported that there was a data server that was in a bad state and this impacted a small subset of users. They are continuing to research this isse to ensure that this does not happen in the future.

                    I restarted NT several times and finally got lucky. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence to make any trades though.

                      I still can not connect, same error for last 5 hours...I am based in Sydney Australia

                      Try to connect and after 30secs fails with...

                      First Message:

                      CQG: disconnect enforced due to undesired CQG API state. Please contact Ninja Trader support for further instructions.

                      Second Dialog Message:

                      Login Failed.

                      Better than losing money on trading errors!

                        Having the same problem here in Pennsylvania, USA. That's why I hate to disconnect, repair data base and reboot daily as directed. Does everyone else follow this proceedure? I would like to keep it connected all week if it does not make a difference.

                          I've never ever been directed to do that in the last 3 years ! And I've never done it.

                          I keep my connection running 24hours Mon-Fri and have never had a connection issue until today

                            6:50 a.m. EST in Maryland and still down. Biggertime trader ... I'm not sure about leaving NT up all week long. My fear personally would be if a hacker gets into your PC and makes a trade (if he can figure out how) on your account. I guess if you have virus/firewall protection, this could not happen. Personally, I shutdown NT once I finish trading.
